Description
Pinot Noir, Domaine Coudoulet
Pinot Noir, Domaine Coudoulet has a refined scent with aromas of ripe cherry, wild strawberry and light toast. The palate is full, juicy and nicely fruity. It is slightly spicy with soft tannin in the aftertaste. A wonderfully light wine.
Jean-Yves and Pierre-André Ournac, two brothers run Domaine Coudoulet in the Languedoc Roussillon region. They are the sixth generation to take over the reins. Over the last decade or so they have replanted their vineyards with parcels of Syrah, Chardonnay and Viognier. Considering this isn’t the traditional appellation for the grape varietal, the domaine is particularly known for their top quality and well-priced Viogniers.
