Delgado Wines

The Delgado winery is located half way between Valdepenas and Valencia is the city of Socuéllamos. This organic winery and vineyard was founded in 1998 by the Delgado Brothers and the grapes are Sohiscert and Ecocert certified. The vineyards stretch over 200 ha, 100 ha of white (Airen, Moscatel and Sauvignon) and 100 ha of red (Cabernet Sauvignon, Garnacha, Tempranillo and Merlot).  The superbly equipped winery is conveniently located in the middle of the vineyards saving valuable time between picking and pressing, so reducing the reliance on sulphur so common round here.

The Theresa wines are particularly authentic, clean and delicious.  The dry Blanco and Rosado are aromatic, crisp and refreshing.  The reds are made from Tempranillo and Garnacha.  The Tinto is full of vibrant juicy red fruit whilst the oak aged “Barrica de Roble” is velvety, rich and sumptuous. These wines represent fantastic value for money.
