Description
Sedlescombe Rubellite
Sedlescombe Rubellite is a contrasting Cabernet style rose with ruby red colour. There are almost red wine-like flavours of green bell pepper, cherry sauce, blackcurrant, strawberry and raspberry. There is a really good fruity acidity, a fine floral and grenadine aroma.
A true award winning English Quality Wine, a blend of Rondo, Dornfelder and Regent bio-dynamically grown grapes.
SILVER Medal – International Organic Wine Awards 2015
Established in 1979, Sedlescombe is England’s oldest organic vineyard. In 2010 this family run winery launched the first bio-dynamic English wine. Nowadays these natural methods also include use of wild, natural yeasts for more unique and complex wines that reflect the singular terroir. The complexity of the wines and the care for the environment has won Sedlescombe a number of awards along the way.
The Sedlescombe vineyards are certified organic and biodynamic. Their bio-dynamic and organic standards are to ensure that there is no use of artificial pesticides and fertilisers. They prohibit genetically modified ingredients and help to promote wildlife conservation. All in all, the soil is not damaged and is in fact enhanced.
